Criteria for my future food intake include the following:
- My food should taste great.
- My food should be satisfying.
- My food should not leave me feeling miserable (bloated, foggy or just wanting to die).
- My food should instead promote increased energy and a sense of well-being.
- My food should use herbs and spices with less salt, sugar and fat for improved flavor and health. This is where the "sniffer" part comes in. More on that later.
- My food should not scream "vegetarian!" but be acceptable to ordinary people, since I live with a non-vegetarian and have non-vegetarian friends. No really goopy, strange, gummy or sawdust-y textures.
This blog will mainly consist of recipe creations and discoveries. Caring means sharing, right?
